Submitting details of your own theses,
dissertations, and work in progress

We are interested in receiving proposals for the following:

Work using related methodologies is also welcome.  Any of the action technologies may be submitted:  action research (in its many varieties), action learning, actions science, action evaluation, and the like.

Purpose of the web site

We often hear thesis candidates express a wish for models of action research theses and dissertations.  To this end we (Mary Jane Mahony and Bob Dick) have established a web site for action research theses and dissertations (either full text or abstracts), and for action research work in progress (whether for thesis purposes or not.

We expect that one of the main uses of the web site will be to offer a variety of models of action research theses, dissertations, and field research generally.  We also hope it will assist in the development of networks of people with similar interests.

We intend eventually to convert the web site to a searchable database.  (It may be located at Cornell University.) In the meantime, we will try to include in the web site at Southern Cross University the details which will make the eventual database most useful.

Electronic full text theses and dissertations

In the first instance, send the title page, abstract and table of contents to Bob Dick  bdick@scu.edu.au  or  bd@uq.net.au

We can then discuss how best to submit the thesis electronically so that it can be converted to HTML in readiness for the web.
